Trying to find out how many drops of CBD oil you should take? There are a lot of factors that go into the answer. Some people need more, while others might need less depending on their condition and other factors. The truth is, it largely depends on what you’re looking to get out of the CBD oil and how your body reacts to it. In this blog post, we will discuss some doses to find one that works best for you.

Find Your Right Doses of CBD Oil For You

While there isn’t a magic number as far as how many cbd oil drops you should take, it is important to find the right dosage that works for your body. Consider these factors:

Your weight  – The more mass you have, the higher the concentration will be in your system, affecting you differently than someone with a lower BMI.

Your tolerance – If this is your first time taking CBD oil or if it has been some time since you last took any, start slowly until you figure out what amount helps relieve your symptoms without causing negative side effects such as drowsiness or nausea. You can then gradually increase from there. Refer to our blog post on “Taking too much?”

Your desired effect – The more used CBD oil you are, the higher dosage might be needed for it to work effectively. Again, start slow and gradually increase your serving size until you find a good fit for yourself.

How will I know if my dosage needs to increase?

When starting out with a new dose try to buy cbd oil products made from hemp, it is important to know the product you are using. There is a big difference between hemp-derived CBD oil and cannabidiol products with higher THC content concentrations (intoxicating). The standard dosage for most people with zero tolerance who start off taking Hemp-derived CBD oil/cannabidiol products with less than 0.03% THC content will be in the range of 20-30mg per serving size, which may vary depending on your weight, desired effect and other factors such as age or medical conditions.

Take note: When increasing from one dose level to another, do not exceed three drops above or below your previous amount. For example, if you were previously taking 15 drops, it is not recommended to increase by more than 18-17 drops. Start slowly by taking one additional drop at a time and keep track of how you feel every few days until the desired effect is achieved without any negative side effects like drowsiness, nausea or changes in mood/appetite, etc.

What to do if 1-2 drops don’t have the desired effect?

Since there is no standard serving size, the dosage amount should vary depending on the product you are using. If one to two drops isn’t having the desired effect and increasing it by three or more won’t help, try looking for different CBD oil/cannabidiol products with less than 0.03% THC content (non-intoxicating). There may be other factors that might prevent some from obtaining relief, such as:

The concentration of hemp-derived CBD oil in your product – The higher percentage means a smaller number of drops per dose will be needed.
