As the name suggests, Air Optix Night and Day are contact lenses that you can wear anytime. If approved by your optician, you can wear them for 30 days and 30 nights. It means they are suitable for individuals who cannot change their contact lenses frequently or ones who don’t want to be bothered about changing their lenses during the nighttime.

What are the Benefits of Air Optix Night and Day Contact Lenses?

One of the most obvious benefits is that you can wear these lenses for several days without any hassle. Apart from that, there are various other things that make them a useful addition to your busy lifestyle. 

Here are a few of the benefits of these contacts:

  • These are highly breathable lenses that provide you with much-needed comfort all day long. Also, you can wear these lenses while sleeping.
  • The lenses have an ultra-smooth lens surface that helps prevent dirt and deposit build ups on the lense.
  • You can use these lenses in case of long-sightedness or short-sightedness.

Are Air Optix Night and Day Contact Lenses Safe?

The biggest concern that may prohibit you from trying these contacts is safety. The great news is that Air Optix Night and Day contact lenses are safe to use. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the contacts to be worn upto 30 days. 

However, there may be some people who find it challenging to wear contacts for an extended period of time. These individuals can remove their lenses to take a break. According to experts, at least 80% of people find it comfortable to wear these contacts for many days. 

Also, if you are new to these contacts, you can consult your eye expert to design a schedule to wear the lenses.

As per the FDA and experts, the contact lenses are safe to wear. However, in some cases, people can experience some issues, which usually occur when the lenses are used for a long period of time. These problems include eye infection and corneal ulcers.
